Pania Lodge has three bedrooms – 1 double room, 1 twin room,
1 bunk room (sleeps 4), 1x pull-out bed, plus spare mattresses.
All linen and condiments (ie. flour, sugar, tea) are supplied.
There is gas and electric cooking, and radiator central heating.
There is a microwave, fridge, freezer, automatic washing
machine, dryer, telephone, TV, video, radio and CD player.
Pania Lodge is a lovely, comfortable, warm home that everyone
enjoys!
Visits to the local museum, Department of
Conservation Information Centre and The Fernery can be arranged
as well as escorted day walks.
Pania Lodge is an ideal base for
guests to explore the township of Oban and around Paterson
Inlet. While in Oban a varied program may be organised including
a Local Bus Tour and Day Cruise around Paterson Inlet visiting
Ulva Island Bird Sanctuary and other points of interest aboard
Talisker.
Pania Lodge offers accommodation
in Halfmoon Bay Stewart Island. Pania Lodge has accommodation
for 3 couples plus and is set in secluded native bush fronting onto
Butterfield Beach. The lodge has all conveniences with solid
fuel (wood & coal), gas and electric cooking, two toilets, bath
and shower. The central heating is coal fired based on the coal
range.
